Room reservation and rental
By choosing the École française de Rome for your events, meetings and press conferences, you are opting for a space that is both original and functional and gives your events a touch of prestige.
Whether it is to accommodate a group of twenty or one hundred and fifty people, the EFR offers a unique place for event and meeting organizers.
Located on one of the most beautiful squares in Rome, 62 Piazza Navona (also accessible from the Corso Rinascimento), the reception building has recently been renovated. It has several spaces:
- the auditorium/conference room;
- the seminar room;
- the gallery/exhibition space at ground floor;
- as well as an outdoor reception courtyard.

NB : for the organization of colloquiums or seminars in the research fields of the École française de Rome (history, archaeology, social sciences), organizers are invited to contact the " direction des études" for the period concerned: Antiquity, Middle Ages, Modern and Contemporary periods.
Conference room
The conference room can accommodate up to 99 participants. It is located on the first floor of the Piazza Navona building and has been fitted with new audio and video equipment.
An audio recording of the conferences can be made for event organizers.

Seminar room
Located on the ground floor of the Piazza Navone building, the seminar room has also benefited from a recent complete renovation. Throughout the year, it hosts seminars, meetings and training events for up to 30 participants.
A new video conference system was installed in this room in 2014 and can be set up on request for meeting organizers.

Shooting authorization
Pour filmer ou prendre des photographies sur les sites de l'EFR, vous devez être munis d’une autorisation émanant de la direction.
Toute demande doit nous parvenir au moins une semaine avant le début du tournage.
